Who we are
Our website address is: https://www.MobileMechanic.Vegas. We are normal everyday people just like you, and we value your business very much. We would never sell your information, in fact, we take our web etiquete and your privacy very seriously and take extra precautions to harden our server against attacks. The easiest way to guarantee that we are responsible with your information, is by us not collecting it in the first place. Albiet there will always be information of yours that goes through our AI “Mack” the mechanic, but we built “Mack” ourselves. By default “Mack” uses Mistral Nemo as its LLM, which is open source and very secure, much more so than closed source Frontier AI companies.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site (not possible, go ahead and try), we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, (which we dont let you), but if you could… avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site,(which again, you cant, because we do not let you), you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, (which we have purposefully not enabled a login), we would set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data because it does not exist, but if it did, it would be discarded post haste when you close your browser.
When you log in, (again, you can not login) we would have also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, (again we dont allow this), an additional cookie would have been saved in your browser. This non-existing cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site never embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website, therefore we dont use it. Notice how “Plain Jane” our website is?
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who we share your non-existing data with
If you request a password reset, (which you never will, because we will never give you one) your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How long we retain your data
We dont, because we do not, will not, even if you paid us to, ever collect data from you. Your data belongs to you, not us, and frankly… we have enough of our own to worry about.
What rights you have over your data
As far as we are concerned, you have every sole right to your data. Who do people think they are collecting your data and never even asking, let alone saying thank you for the money they obiously make from it? No, not only do we not condone this practice, data brokers can EAT PANTS!.
Where your data is sent
LOL what data? There’s no data here, but our data, and thats how we like it. **If ever you were to discover your data on our server, we would like to hear from you ASAP! Thank you Las Vegas. Carry on.
